In April 30, 2020, G City Club Hotel permanently shut its doors due to low occupancy rates.
G City Club Hotel couldn't succumb to the competitive market from new hotels and homestays in Kuala Lumpur City Centre area, which was a direct result of decrease occupancy suffered.

Covid-19 Pandemic

Covid-19 shuts down G City Club Hotel.

The Coronavirus pandemic was the final nail in the coffin for G City club Hotel.
The management stated, “With Covid-19 and the forecast of 18 months before normalization of the global economy and low travel confidence, the management reviewed its hotel operations and is making a difficult but needed decision to cease operations,”.
