Jazz Hotel ceased its operation by 30 April 2020 as Covid-19 pandemic continues to hit the hospitality business.
A memo from board of directors and management to its staffs stated that the hotel will be closed, and retrenched its employees.

Failed Fundraising

Failed to raise subsequent funding.

According to reports, the hotel also failed to raise subsequent funding from investors leading to financial crisis.
It also noted that the company was in deep financial crisis for months even before the outbreak, and had tried to maintain its staffs.
