Due to economic instability, flash sale companies lost their bargaining power

After the economic downturn in 2007/2008, the economy began to recover and demand high-end brands. Therefore, flash sale companies struggled to compete with T.J. Maxx as manufacturers decided to not let their high-end brands sell for bargain prices anymore.
There was a big difference in the market from 2005 to 2015 where until 2010 the market grew at an average annual rate of 76.2% and since then, declining to 16.7% annual growth till 2015.
